Flexo label company is looking for an experienced maintenance tech. Maintenance/Machine Operator - Job
Responsibilities: Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules, minor repairs, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Set-up, Operate, or tend machines to cut, slit, punch, or straighten various types of materials. Maintenance Job Duties: ? Maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. ? Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal codes and regulations, 5s and other lean manufacturing tools and principals. ? Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules on production machines and equipment. ? Follow diagrams, sketches, and operations manuals, for troubleshooting with manufacturer's instructions and or guidance. ? Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hand and power tools, and the replacement of such. ? Trouble shoots basic electrical functions, such as fuses, breakers, and electrical contacts. ? Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. ? Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. ? Fabricates, and or purchases, and installs, machine guarding and other basic fabricated pieces. ? Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories as needed and or required. Maintenance Mechanic Skills and
Qualifications: Equipment Maintenance, Basic Technical Understanding, Basic Electrical Knowledge, Basic Safety, Power Tools, Attention to Detail, Flexibility, Productivity. Must be able to interface (Explain issue/follow directions) via phone, and or PC with equipment manufacturer. Machine Operator Job Duties: ? Maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and equipment. ? Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; 5s and other lean manufacturing tools and principals. ? Read work orders or production schedules to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, locations of cutting lines, or dimensions and tolerances. ? Measure completed and in process work pieces to verify conformance to given specifications, using calipers, templates, or rulers. ? Examine completed work pieces for defects, such as damaged edges or disfigured surfaces and sort defective pieces according to types of flaws. ? Start machines, monitor their operations, and record operational data. ? Test and adjust machine speeds or actions, according to product specifications, using gauges and hand tools. ? Install, align, and lock specified punches, dies, cutting blades, or other fixtures in rams or beds of machines, using gauges, templates, feelers, shims, and hand tools. ? Qualifications: Understanding of written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents. Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, waste costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods. Knowledge of basic arithmetic. The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem. Basic PC knowledge. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
