Summary:
Investigate, evaluate and conclude First Party losses. Requires an understanding of the auto insurance policy and the principles of coverage. Interaction with the customer will primarily be via telephone.
Ability to understand basic insurance concepts, policy language and basic coverage issues.
Ability to multi-task and maintain a high level of desk organization through maintaining diary, note pad and closing ratio per established goals.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Negotiation and problem solving abilities.
Highly motivated and able to maintain a positive attitude in a fast pace environment while providing excellent telephone customer service and low occurrence of complaints.
Recognize and refer all potential Subrogation and SIU claims.
Other duties as assigned.
College degree preferred or relevant work experience.
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
Computer literate with the ability to learn customer service software applications. Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills and computer proficiency.
Good telephone manner to enhance relationships with customers and agents.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
