Create PO's with planning output from accurate forecast and space accordingly.
Monitor the flow of purchased merchandise against actual needs to maintain correct stock based on company guidelines (no more than 45-60 days of inventory).
Utilizing demand forecasting/planning to achieve.
Collaborating with Buyer regarding promotional forecast and replenishment.
Identify root causes for inventory issues and re-act by expediting goods out of stocks and minimize groups considered overstocked, goal is no more than 45-60 days of inventory.
Maintain accurate Po's ship dates by managing open order reports provided by vendors on a weekly basis.
Correct internal ATP is crucial.
Identify seasonal and promotional trends that would affect demand planning and replenishment.

Work with Import and Domestic brokers to ensure timely arrival and accurate ship dates of PO's.
Ensure new groups have the correct inventory on-hand based on initial ROS and groups are monitored and adjusted accordingly based on new group forecasting guidelines; takes initiative to ensure initial ordering requests are being met.
Review new and dropped goods with buyers monthly for best entrance/exit strategy.
Builds strong relationships with sales representatives and manufacturers.
Performs additional duties as required or requested.
