Sales Coordinator

Description This position will assist with client needs and client events.
The Sales Coordinator will coordinate communication with other departments as requested by the Director of Sales and/or Sales Manager(s).

Director of Sales Minimum Requirements:
This position requires proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Prefer previous LIghtSpeed and CI/TY experience.
Previous customer service experience required.
Minimum 1 year of hotel experience or hospitality degree preferred.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Coordinating client needs and client events.
Maintaining account and event files.
May assist in selling guestrooms, meeting spaces and/or additional services.
May assist in servicing meeting needs if needed.
Coordinating and Communicating hotel site inspections and guest stayovers.
Assisting Sales Managers with soliciting new and repeat business.
Maintaining daily organization of office files and CI/TY Assisting in preparation of proposals, contracts, appointments, hotel tours, pre/post event reports, BEOs, and other necessary account paperwork.
Attending revenue, sales and operation meetings.
Recognizes opportunities to maximize revenue opportunities by up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding events.
Proactively identifies operational challenges and works with the hotel staff and customer to solve these challenges and/or develop alternative solutions.
Advises sales staff as to ability to accommodate client demands including phone requirements, fit of available space and materials such as booths.
Assist sales staff in promoting hotel, developing leads and securing re-bookings.
Access and input data into a computer system to generate account history reports.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
