The Job at a Glance The Indirect Credit Analyst is responsible for underwriting indirect consumer loan requests, inclusive of Indirect and direct loans as well as third-party partnerships.
This position contributes to the achievement of indirect lending growth, profitability, asset quality and member service objectives.
Ensures credit queues are worked timely and effectively.
The Indirect Credit Analyst will be the internal and external champion for the credit union's Indirect Lending department's sales and service culture and will lead the continued enhancement of service delivery and operational process improvements as related to Indirect Lending operations.
The Indirect Credit Analyst will help organizational goals and service expectations for indirect retail lending needs while being in compliance with all regulations and policies.
A Typical Day Underwrite indirect applications received within designated goal time following CU1's lending criteria, policies, and procedures.
Negotiate terms and conditions of loan decisions with dealers while maintaining compliance with client lending parameters and company policies.
Maintains strong knowledge of all lending policies, procedures, products, and applicable regulations to support compliance and quality control objectives.
Protects the Credit Union by monitoring applications for red flags and potential fraud, escalating applications when necessary.
Communicates loan decisions with accuracy and efficiency; supports all branches of lending and projects as a Subject Matter Expert.
Acts as liaison between Indirect Lending Department and dealership representatives as well as internal members, including branch staff and other department staff.
Conduct oneself in a kind, courteous, and helpful manner to all members, both external and internal.
Works with third party vendors as needed; including auditing of loan files for accuracy and working to secure our lien on collateralized loans.
Actively participates in training/education activities to maintain and enhance professional and technical skills, relative to industry standards and trends, which supports the professional development of lending personnel.
Resolves member issues relating to loan decisions.
Perform other duties and assist other employees, as assigned.
What We Look For High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be a self-starter, researching information where needed.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong attention to detail.
Good organizational and time management skills Requires professional appearance and attitude.
Must have the ability to adjust to changes in duties and methods.
Proficient with spreadsheets and word processing software Must be available for a rotating Saturday shift.
Must be available to work Late Night Shift 10-7pm as needed or on a rotating schedule.
Relationship skills needed to develop and maintain productive franchise dealer relationships.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
